I believe it was necessary. Why give money to someone that isnt doing their job? They were suppose to help fight terrorism with us in exchange for that money. They failed to do that. I mean (if) that was bin Laden hiding in their country and they didnt say anything then they deserve squat. I mean they are right on the border think they would be more helpful in ridding terrorism. All these countries that say their with us should show it instead of having their hand out wanting money. Work for it
