Next time, send a marine or secret service person to get the mic, problem solved. The little prick would not dare try that on them. His unprofessionalism as a "reporter" will be his undoing. Can you just imagine what the outcry would have been if he tried that crap with Obama? CNN would have fired him immediately.
Trump 2, Acosta 0...lol

There is a real easy solution with the technology we have, just use Skype. The press room only has 49 seats in it. More reporters can have access to the press conference if they used something like Skype.Haters don't really hate you, in fact they hate themselves because you are a reflection of what they wish to be.

Distasteful.....No class.....Embarrassing, It's hard for me to determine if you're referring to Trump or Acosta. Respect is a two way street. The "President" obviously picked Acosta first to start a war of words with the media.Originally posted by 50j View PostDistasteful is a good way to describe it. Show some respect for the President, the office, and the setting even if you don't like it. Some people have no class, and that little punk is one of them. He's embarrassing.

I respect your opinion, but my thoughts have always been that respect is earned, not just given as a result of a job title.Originally posted by 50j View PostOne is our President, one is not. No matter who the President is, show some respect. Some people will understand the concept, some won't.

I'd agree with that but there is a time and place for things. If the reporter disagrees with something he can do an editorial or commentary on CNN or whatever but that wasn't the venue for that sort of self conduct. He was there as a guest of the President of the United States. He showed a lack of class. It shows a social regression. If it was a democrat in office I'd feel the same way. Manners count.

The judge indicated that Acosta's 5th amendment had been violated as it appears he was given no due process. The judge also indicated "no one has an absolute First Amendment right to have access to the White House. BUT he then said when the President invites in some reporters but excludes others the First Amendment comes into play."
So the 1st amendment was violated when the hard pass first started being used, since you're excluded if you don't possess one?
I guess in your mind as long as you belong to the press you can act however you wish and hide behind the 5th amendment. Oh what muddy waters that can create. I bet you wouldn't feel the same way if Sarah Sanders did what jerkoff jim did.
