I said before that the President did not mean that Mexico would directly pay for the wall .
Only idiots that can't think outside the box would think that . He also did not say they would
right a check . I knew , as I sure others did that when he talked about them paying for it ,
when he was talking about the trade deals , that was what he meant . They just want to hold
him to exactly what he said and call him a liar . which is what they try and do .

Liars and manipulators calling someone else a liar doesn't really have the desired effect.....it's funny to watch the squirming and even funnier watching the followers take the hook like they do.

Everyone that graduated high school knew and knows what he meant......

I agree with you on spending it for the good of America instead of giving it away to foreign interests........I just don't think it's a one answer solution, sure build the wall where it makes sense to do so and that is cost prohibitive.

Spending the money to put a wall up just to get your way isn't right for the country either and makes ...it's a multi pronged approach that's needed.

Prisons have multiple levels of security before any prisoner could even get near the wall.

A wall in and of itself isn't the best and only solution....a beefed up wall and fencing system and multiple other options including enhanced surveillance , enforcing the current laws, deportation and or jail time for anyone entering illegally or caught bringing something in illegally to name a few.

There are tons of good ideas floating around and a lot of smart people throwing them out there.......nobody can pull the kids apart on the playground long enough to present them though.

If you don't have the actual wall though, then all the rest gets turned off as soon as a Democrat gets back in the white house. But the wall will still be there.

talk about lies , pelosi and schumer came out of the meeting to day and said trump slammed his hand on the table and said by , then people that were there came out and said that was not true , said trump ask her if he went along with there proposal,s in 30 days would she be willing to help with his border security plan and she said no , so he said there was nothing to discus and walked out , as i would have .........

Building a wall in some of those areas along the border just isn't necessary......have you looked at some of the the terrain? ( which in and of itself is a natural wall that works great as a deterrent.)

And if it all gets turned off and no one is watching then the folks trying to get in can just knock holes in the wall that will still be there or dig under it and just come on through anyway.

The wall by itself ain't the answer.....it's a very large part but not the only part we need to get done what needs to get done with the illegal activity on the southern border.

I like most of your posts and agree with a lot of the same things you do, but man you're paranoid about stuff sometimes.

Criminals go around , over , under and through walls every single day to get to something they aren't supposed to get to.......if there are no greeters on the other side of the wall they are crossing or lethal deterents to stop them from going over, under or around in the first place then what's the point.

A wall is just an obstacle at that point.

Now, if you are talking about adding sniper towers and using the required amount of rounds to keep folks in check from coming over or around like Israel and Syria do then I'm all ears.......but at the end of the day this is still America and we aren't exactly surrounded by the same type of threats as are the countries you mentioned.

I'm for the wall, but I'm also for being sensible about where to put what.

My paranoia reference was to your speculative conjecture on when and if the dems take back over the White House that they will turn it all off.....you're a smart guy but you have no possible way of knowing when or if that will ever happen.

I hope you read enough of my posting to know that I am not exactly prone to being propegandized( I know, not even a word)......I'm a very hard person to convince of anything , especially when I have done a little research and have made up my mind on a subject.

I am sure everyone realizes the Dems are not really against a wall. They have supported the idea for years. They are not interested in anything other than regaining power and of course that includes stopping Trump. Dems in Washington are for what ever gets them elected, and they could care less about the people they are supposed to be serving. They are simply slimy politicians who use their elected seats to obtain personal wealth. Pelosi and the Clintons are at the head of class. Since most of the sound ideas come from conservative thinking, they are left with a platform of tax it, restrict it and give everything away. They want to control peoples lives. There is no debate on this. Simply look at their platforms. BTW they also are supported by big banks and wall street, and hilariously say they will take them down if elected. A bigger joke, one cannot find. Obama spent 8 years paying off all his big donors. Look what he wasted on GREEN energy companies. I am not very happy with Reps either, but I am happy with Trump's leadership and at least Reps try to protect conservative rights, our Allies like Israel and Church Worship freedoms.

Democrats have proved they are with the open borders people. They will let as many in as they can. Do you not believe that they want to destroy our culture?

It was 88% on Newsmax this morning and then late fell to 80%. It was a text poll. Sometimes I think the left finds this stuff out and bots it to screw up the results. In the case of texting they can mess with that too.

I think we all can agree where parts of the wall are not necessary . We know there will be
immigrants trying to get in by destruction . Its just a deterrent . And like you said , with new
technology added we can help the country . I hate to admit but I've been through more that
a few Presidents . I am not paranoid . This is not about policy . If we don't stop this now , there
is going to be a big price to pay . Fix it any way we can . Don't fool yourself .
