Those of us who reside in Illinois and see and experience the political cesspool that is chitcago aren't the least surprised by what has happened. The chitcago cops sure as hell aren't the least bit overjoyed by this travesty of justice but they're gonna' have to eat it and like it. The chitcago police chief says it's a gut punch.

When this kind of BS happens it certainly diminishes the faith any fair minded person has in our criminal justice system. There should be a swift and severe rebuke and reaction to this but it's futile to think there will be. And so it goes...............
