I don't know, Clay. It might be a bit of a stretch. I can't get a recent pic of Billy Bob to post but I'm not feelin' the resemblance.

Opp was a while before my time but I've heard he was as tough to beat as anyone ever has been right up until he was injured at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Mile dirt track racing for the lead driving a USAC Silver Crown car.

That cowboy hat that became Opp's trademark belonged to his younger brother Jay who was killed in a sprint car at Knoxville back in the spring of 1970. He wore it in tribute to Jay.

Not sure if it's your faulty eyesight, alcohol and/or drug abuse but if you google BBT and look at the recent pics of him there is very little resemblance.

Why can't I post an image anymore, Clay. I tried 3 or 4 different pics and couldn't get on to post like I used to. Did you put an evil spell on my 'puter?
