Friend bought a car race ready, was told the motor was stout built to turn 7500 rpm, solid lift cam, roller rockers, vortecs, etc. Pulled motor apart, thing might be lucky to survive pulling out to pass someone on the highway. Cast crank, x rods, Keith black 2 eye brow flat tops

Did the guy lie or just have a different perspective of what might survive 7500?

Might have been different perspective. They called the engine builder and he said the same. I don't see it surviving
