What needed or needs tweaking regarding the 2nd amendment?

just using it as an example , some 2nd amendment supporters feel there is no need for assault rifles in the general public's hands , this will probably eventually happen or get tweaked , but no need to completely get ride of the 2nd , as for the electoral college , you either keep it or get ride of it and except that 2 or 3 cities will run the whole country.....JMO....

The 2nd amendment “supporters” definition above, and my 2nd amendment “supporters” definition, are polar opposite.

The 2nd amendment “supporters” definition above would be what I call “gun grabbers” of those “scary black rifles, and those “scary high capacity magazines”, just for starters, that Liberal Democrats what to ban completely.

My personal 2nd amendment “supporters” definition, is exactly opposite of that. That coming from my Libertarian point of view - "Libertarians seek to maximize political freedom and autonomy, emphasizing freedom of choice, voluntary association and individual judgement. Libertarians share a skepticism of authority and state power, but they diverge on the scope of their opposition to existing economic and political systems."

If anyone is keeping an eye on this topic; I think Tuesday in Virginia might be a preview of things to come with Governor, Northam and his cronies at work to, in short in my opinion, ban the 2nd amendment in some way. Many States are trying to implement same such anti-gun owner laws and sanctuary cities.

lurker , i was stating an opinion as to where i thought the 2nd was headed , i did not say it was my personal opinion , i cant see where your version of the 2nd is polar opposite of what i stated , gun grabbers are in support of taking all guns , which i am against defiantly , you sound like you are for no regulation at all with your views , and i understand , most libertarians i have met want it all their way or nothing , maybe thats where the " polar opposite " came from , but our whole system in this country is based on compromise , as with the 2nd or abortion or what ever . no one is ever gone get every thing they want , but you negotiate to reach a final result every one can live with....
