Drs Birx and Fauci can't set policy. All they can do is advise. Fauci has been forced to contradict Trump repeatedly and I wouldn't be surprised if Trump eventually fires him because of that.

I would not believe any numbers from China right now. China sat on this problem when it first happened and lied to the world. Maybe it was just their hubris, maybe they were embarrassed, maybe a bunch of other reasons but the world is dealing with one huge Communist Chinese #*(% up.

The world at large could have responded to this much quicker had China acted with disclosure and honesty and the WHO was complicit (https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/14/asia/...hnk/index.html). China has cooked their numbers to let it appear that other countries have surpassed them and that they have this under control. They might be regaining some control but sources from within China have their deaths at well over 40,000 in Hubei province. Sources within China have witnessed truckloads of urns delivered to funeral homes and crematoriums which are said to be working round the clock. Take everything associated with China as suspect information.

Personally, IMHO, I think the USofA is doing its very best given the circumstances. I base that off of the daily WH press conference, not President Trumps comments.
