De Blasio Announces Partial Defunding of NYPD

Amid calls from protesters demanding the New York City yank funding from the New York Police Department, Mayor Bill de Blasio on Sunday said the city is going to do just that.

“This morning we committed to move resources from the NYPD to youth and social services as part of our City’s budget. Our young people need to be reached, not policed. We can do this AND keep our city safe,” de Blasio tweeted.

Of course it would have to be an extra small Dr. Pepper because of the " Fat Tax" that he endorsed. He got rid of the Big Slam and 2 liter bottles because he thought it would make people lose weight. The main thing it created was more garbage laying because it now takes several more containers to make up for what they could have put in one big container.
