These "protestors" are too well organized to be just protestors. They seem to be very tactical in their actions. Using lasers to damage eyesight, the umbrellas to shield from pepper spray, the above mentioned IED's, and fireworks used as weapons.

Trump is completely correct in having federal law enforcement enforce federal law and protect federal property. There is no reason to go beyond that.
