We need to pray for Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation hearings today and in the coming days. Join me in praying that she would be treated fairly and respectfully. God closed the mouths of the lions for Daniel, and I pray He will protect Judge Amy Coney Barrett from those who would do anything to prevent a conservative justice from being appointed to the Supreme Court. Everyone knows that she is exceptionally qualified and one of the brilliant legal minds of our day. Let’s pray that her confirmation can happen quickly and without the shameful circus and ugliness the world witnessed at the last one.
Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation hearings begin today and Vice President Mike Pence has rightfully condemned the Democrats’ attacks on her faith. Speaking in Florida Saturday, he noted how her faith was questioned three years ago by Sen. Dianne Feinstein who critically accused her saying, “The dogma lives loudly within you.â€
I think that’s actually a compliment for all Christians, and so does Vice President Pence. He said, “Well, I’ve got news for the Democrats and their friends in Hollywood–the dogma lives loudly in me! The dogma lives loudly in you, and the right to live and work and worship according to dictates of our conscience, lives loudly in the Constitution of the United States of America."
