Very cool video if you are a fan of the Superbird/Daytona era of NASCAR.

Love them ! ! 503 Daytonas built in 1969. They run from around $200.000 To upwards of 1 million for a Hemi 4 speed example. There never seems to be more than 3 or 4 examples for sale worldwide in any given day. The 1970 Plymouth Superbirds are more plentiful. There was over 1800 of them built. There are usually about 10 of them availible every day. They start out at $125,000 and up. The most desireable would be the Hemi 4 speed in the neon lime green color. The base engine was the 440 single 4 barrel. Next up was a 440 with 3 2 barrel carbs which they called the "6 PACK". The final engine choice was the mighty 426 Hemi. 1 of the "winged warriors " was the first to crack 200 mph in nascar. Even a clone car made from a regular Plymouth Satelite goes from $90,000 and up !

Great video! That's Steve Lehto. He has his own youtube channel as well, but it's mostly about law. Anyway, he always has a shelf with a few small models of these cars behind him when he does his video. Anyway, for anyone interested here's a video about King Cobra Gran Torino, he briefly mentions in the video above.

Here's another video that touches on the earlier part of the aero war between Ford and mopar and the role the Talladega Torino played in it. This was what motivated them to respond with the daytona and superbird.

And another video with an in depth look at the daytona.
