Ok folks. This new NASCAR race car is suppose to make it cheaper on race teams. Teams buy all parts from NASCAR. Teams will have less cars overall. Big teams can go from around 450 employees down to around 125. Where are these folks going to find other jobs? What happens to parts suppliers ? I think all will be affected.

Racers will bankrupt themselves if the sanctioning bodies allowed them to. I use Bob Memmer as an example a lot, but that was his thought behind not allowing backup cars to be used at UMP events. In theory, a guy could use a small trailer and only carry one car. That saves money for racers on multiple levels.Comment
