I forgot all about Indy and NASCAR last weekend...

Honestly, i watched both every year! But with the new nasCRAP politics I wasnt interested at all!

There have been a couple of good Indy 500's the past few years though!

lurker, due to work obligations I'm only going to attend Circle City in Indianapolis on June 9th, Lincoln Park on the 10th, and Kokomo on the 12th Would love to do them all but it's a busy time of year for me.

2013, the year TK won, was the best 500 I've ever seen. This year was probably 2nd best and 2019 was right up there, too. As any event contested over a 110 year time span there are going to be some duds but over the past decade the vast majority of 500's have been very entertaining.

Perhaps it is a good thing that Kyle Larson wasn't competing in this years event? He might have turned it into a cake walk of total domination as he did in the 600 where everyone else were there to only race for 2nd place ! !

lurker, Indiana Midget Week has become nearly as popular and well attended and Indiana Sprint Week, which is saying something! I think the number of races they schedule makes so much more sense than the craziness of the Summernationals. That goes for the benefit of the fans and participants, alike.

One of these days down the road we're going to pack up the camper and do all of the midget week events and then a few weeks later do all of the sprint week events. Both are some of the best racing you'll see all year.
