    ? ? ? Question PLEASE ? ? ?

Locally We are getting that thing going on at the stores where they don't have enough change and they are asking for customers quarters etc. They want exact change or want one to round out to the nearest dollar. Even most of the car washes in the area have gone to a token system because of not having quarters. The banks are only allowing 1 roll to be given out and in some cases not even that. Anybody know why this is starting up again. Is the Dems or China behind it. Is it along the same lines of the ECM chip shortage for new cars ? ? So many questions. Any answers ? ?

Financial institutions say it is due to growing amount of people once again going out and spending cash less due to the new strains of COVID. This decreases the circulation of coins when these people use card to pay for things instead. Even if your area right now is experiencing this, chances are it won't last as long though as the US is back to its regular rate of minting coins.

Probably my fault. I have a couple 5 gallon water jugs full of quarters!

What BBQ said would actually technically help if most places rounded up or down to the nearest dollar, though that would kinda defeat the purpose of coins. As a temporary fix that would work, though.

With a 33 Trillion debt and climbing with a socialist paper spending agenda, the dollar won't be the standard soon. Coins will be useless. Inflation will get out of control with more butt wiping green backs printed, free money, all you want. A simple burger will cost $25, with the tax rounded up to the nearest dollar. Maybe the African woman slave printed on the dollar with Washington (white and pro slave) removed will save the new AfricaMexicoERICA, got to be more PC to fit in.
