Looks like he will run the Indy 500. Should give the race a needed shot in the arm. Running full Indy car schedule next year. Would think he will do better on ovals

I relate to your concerns, FCG. JJ is one of the most accomplished but whose accomplishments are the least appreciated of any driver ever to race a NASCAR Cup car. He's walking, talking racing lore and history at this point. The law of averages dictate that every time a driver straps into a racecar that is capable of speeds attained by a NASCAR Cup car and/or an Indy Car the odds of something bad happening get just a tick higher. Jimmie is 46 years old and in fantastic physical condition and is an icon or the racing world. Far be it from someone as insignificant as I to try and give someone like JJ advise but I really hope he's very careful, especially on the high speed ovals.
