Can't find any Biden voters anywhere ? ? I recall the Obama years where through both terms we couldn't find anyone anywhere that ever admitted that they voted for that party.

1991 - The former Soviet Union falls, the Cold War (then) is over and George HW Bush makes a promise to Gorbachev that in consideration for the reunification of Germany, the US will not expand NATO. This was not a written agreement, this was just - our word.

1994 - Bill Clinton is expanding NATO and Ukraine is giving up nuclear weapons (which were tied to former Soviet control).

1996 - Our guy in Moscow, Boris Yeltsin is up for re-election and it is a tight race. Bill Clinton sends a team of election strategists to help him get re-elected. Don't believe me? Showtime did a movie about it, "Spinning Boris". Yeah, we meddled and interfered with Russia's elections. We got "our guy" back in the job. Boris was a b00b and a drunk and he was embarrassing, but "we" could control him.

1999-2000 - Boris gives over the reins to Vladimir Putin. Our CIA and State Dept is hopeful that Putin is a younger but less drunk version of Yeltsin, meaning more useful to US foreign policy and sphere of influence abroad.

2001 - 9/11. One of the first phone calls received in our White House was from Vladimir Putin, pledging assistance. Putin's Russia helped us with overflights and intel, particularly with Afghanistan. Putin was an ALLY in the war against Islamic terrorism.

Early 2000s - Our CIA finds out Putin is a nationalist Russian. He's not a Soviet, he's not a communist, he is a proud Russian, and he is not a happy drunk like Yeltsin. The demonization begins, the new version of the Cold War is on and the fertile ground becomes - Ukraine.

As long as there has been a Black Sea Fleet in the Russian Navy, it has been in mostly Russian Crimea - at Sevastapol. Most of the people in the Dombass region have been ethnically Russian. But now they are in Ukraine - and they are not treated well.

The duly elected president of Ukraine - at the time - tries to make concessions. He tries to protect those people, make Russian the official second language, he tries to enter into a tri-partide trade agreement between Ukraine, the EU, and Russia. The US and western Europe rejects this and Ukraine falls back on Russia. Then the Maidan Revolution of 2013-2014 begins - and who was behind that?

So, we went back on our word. We meddled in their elections. We kept pushing Ukraine into this conflict. We kept making these NATO and EU promises to a nation on the border with Russia, with a partially Russian ethnic population who speaks Russian, and we thought this would work out well? Like our sphere of influence is supposed to be world wide, while Russia cannot have any sphere of influence in an area - of ethnic Russian speaking Russians on their own border? Please, apply that logic to the Western hemisphere and tell me you would not have problems with the US if the roles were reversed.

Not sticking up for Putin here but hey, we are in deep enough into this mess we've created for ourselves. No to - No Fly Zones. No to - MIG 29s from Poland Via Germany. Ukraine needs anti-aircraft assets, not a few old jets. I do want to see Ukraine find their independence and I do want to see an end to this but dammit, we are beyond balls deep in helping make this mess. This is Biden's team getting you to take your eyes off his many, many failings and f@ck ups.
