The way that those officers were yelling motherf-er. making up lies as they went along, and taking the Lords name in vain shows that they were possibly pure hood rats that were only hired to make a quota because of the woke movement ? ? They did nothing to abide by a code of ethics that an officer of the law is supposed to aide by whether or not they are on or off duty . . .

They could be hires of diversity on top of being underqualified. Since our own government has been depleting our police forces by way of forciing vaccines and also not having their backs when they do try to enforce the laws. Many law officers have quit or retired and have been replaced by inept.

I think I blame Biden and the Demcrats for this event more than anything else.

A nephews friend went through the state police academy in PA and he was truly astonished by some of the candidates ! Some appeared dumb as a box of rocks and couldn't spell and write properly and so there were people that qualified to even get through high school ! One of them even came to work and got a DUI while 3 times the limit driving a patrol car ! !

Bad hiring, bad training, bad supervision. At least 2 of the 5 were hired after Memphis lowered their hiring standards in 2020. Little over two years on the job and putting these thugs into a specialty unit. Failure waiting to happen.

The thing about squad cams and body cams is that supervisors can, and should, review footage to use as a training tool. Hey, here was some good tactics and good work, keep it up. Here is where something went a little sideways, so let's review some policy and clean it up. The fact that these thugs lost control and went into gang violence mode shows me that they were never held to account for anything that ever showed up on cam footage before. They didn't even respect that they were being recorded.

No supervision. No senior officer on scene to say, "Enough!" No supervisor nearby to respond to an incident where five guys were involved in a high risk situation with use of force? Nobody with the wisdom to see how out of control it had become?

The failure to act on the part of the paramedics. WTF? It took them nearly 20 minutes to start treating an injured person! A lot of failure to go around.

I've discussed this one with some former co-workers. I count my blessings I worked with some very ethical people.
