He's tapping straight into the Iraq War playbook. In 2002, Bush (alongside Netanyahu, yes that Netanyahu) told the UN that Iraq were developing WMDs. The UN sent investigators to Iraq, who were more than happy to let them look and they found nothing. During this time the media was very pro war and Bush was getting painted very favorably. They then testified again, with the aid of comupter generated images, that Iraq were in fact building WMDs. Rest is history.
Netanyahu has been saying for years that Iran are on the cusp of nukes. Still hasn't happened. Trump is now denying the facts his own intelligence committee have presented, being that there are no nukes. It's straight out of the early 2000's playbook.
It's so bad that I'm agreeing with Tucker Carlson.
