So yes, they have already been getting these benefits, at our expense. My wife works in health care, she sees these people on an almost daily basis. If these benefits weren't already going to these illegals there would be no reason for this lawsuit.

This is only referring to a few federally funded clinics such as Head Start, Emergency Medicaid and some other clinics. Head Start hasn't required proof of status for decades.

Why should it? Illegal Immigrants contribute to the economy. Undocumented immigrant households paid $89B in taxes in 2023. They account for 5% of the labor force.

I think their kids ought to have access to at least some form of education and I think they ought to have at least some access to healthcare.

Education yeah, like in my state where the school districts then have to start English as a second language programs and add costs to the taxpayers, and the bulk of those funds come from property tax payers in my state because that is where a big portion of school district funding comes from. Maybe you can shoot me a statistic on how many illegals in my area actually own property and pay property taxes because that would make me feel so much better about it. I'll save you some time. They are all living in rentals and in apartments or housing provided by the farm they work on. They are not property tax payers in my area.

Now I'm not going to dump on them all because I policed the area for many years and for the most part, most of them kept to themselves and minded their own business. The ones that did cause problems were dealt with accordingly (one was a murderer who raped and killed a woman and then tried to burn her up in a car, several OWIs, a few more sexual assaults, drug trafficking, etc.). One murder per year in my county is a pretty big deal so yeah, that was a big deal.

Just the other night I had a few beers and shot some pool with Juan, who is a farm foreman and crew leader for one of the large growers up the road. Really nice dude. I hope he's legal and doesn't meet with problems because he seems like a decent person.

Some things a lot of people do not realize about dealing with the farm labor. You are dealing with a cartel of sorts, almost like a dirty union. A friend of mine was a manager on a very large dairy operation down the road from me. One day there was a large rally scheduled in Madison by Voces De La Frontera and their entire work crew left the farm to go to the rally leaving the owner a few others to do the milking. Were talking nearly 1000 cows in an all day cycle. The next day when the crew returned they apologized and explained to the boss - if they wouldn't have gone to the rally, people were going to be sent to beat them up. How's that for some grass roots organizing? The rally got some good attendance and some great news coverage because of threat of force. I'll bet none of the advocates knew that.

Another day my friend asked me if I knew of the group of Asian prostitutes working in our county. I knew nothing about it. He explained when he got to work at the farm there was a van load of these hotties and they were helping the farm laborers spend some money. No kidding. His employer said, just let it go, it was all set up by the people who have their fingers in with the farm laborers. So yeah, human trafficking for sex intertwined with the farm labor. After leaving that farm, they went down the road to another, and another....

It ain't all some zero sum game. The last four years of throwing the border open made it much worse.

I get it. You don't like immigrants. Maybe you're motives are pure idk. This seems like an issue I'll never be able to convince Trump supporters on so we'll leave it at this.

Not all illegal immigrants are good people. What I can tell you is that they pay taxes, to the sum of around 90B a year. They account for some 14% of all agricultural workers. I can tell you that they are also humans, families. They do not deserve to be treated like sh1t. They do not deserve to have basic services stripped from them. Healthcare SHOULD be a human right. Education benefits all.

The bigger issue is the current president being a child sex-offender, which weirdly no one wants to talk about.

But I would hazard a guess that the range of interactions I had compared to yours was much larger and more diverse by an order of magnitude. I've always been a proponent of a well documented and verifiable guest worker program which would allow a legal pathway to citizenship. I do think the goal of bringing in immigrants should be assimilation and English should be treated as the primary language as it gives those people advantage not only here but in the world as a whole.

Virginia Giuffre is the only under age woman who has even claimed she flew on the Epstein jet. Trump and Epstein had no known interaction after the Epstein investigation began in 2005. Trump actually kicked Epstein out of Mara Lago after accusations of Epstein's behavior at the resort. The last photo I have seen of Trump and Epstein together was taken in the 1990s but it sure gets used a bunch.

Not one of the 40+ women who have sued Ghislaine Maxwell or Jeffrey Epstein for underage sex have ever claimed they also had sex with Donald Trump.

Now I want you to read everything I'm about to say and I want you to be an neutral as possible.

Let's start with Trump's sex offending as a whole.

We know he is a pervert. So much so he has even commented on his own daughter's body (something that should raise red flags for all of you, but ya know). He's been seen with Epstein drooling at Victoria Secret models.

He's been accused of sexual misconduct over 25 times. He's been found liable by a jury for sexual assault. Absolutely NOBODY with that many sexual misconduct allegations is innocent. Nobody decent gets that many allegations. If you disagree with that fact then you've got a lot to learn. When there is smoke there is fire. I repeat, absolutely nobody who is a good person receives that many allegations. Sexual Assault is already common. You're going to have an extremely hard time telling me the guy with 25 allegations hasn't done anything.

It's a FACT he is a pervert and it's a FACT he has very skewed views on women.

Now lets look at child-specific sex offending, keeping in mind everything above.

He was best friends and very close with Jeffery Epstein, a notorious child sex offender.

He owned a modelling agency that recruited girls as young as 14 and rarely older than 18. He also owned a "look of the year" modelling competition for girls the same age. It is said that he'd take these girls out on yachts. That should be a red flag in of itself. Yachting is a medium for prostitution. One girl who was brought onto those yachts has said that Trump would make them, one-by-one, dance for him. Even if that statement was false, the premise of a middle aged man taking out teenage girls on his yacht should make you sick in the stomach. Imagine if that was your daughter?

The same agency is said to have exploited the women it recruited. Many were illegally (ironic, isn't it?) and many were exploited for money. The agency would often put them rooms and charge them stupid rents. Does this sound like someone who respects these women? It doesn't to me.

Trump stated that a then 17 year old Ivanka, made him swear not to date anyone younger than him and that as she was getting older, the field was very limited. Think about that for a second. She was 17. The field was already being limited. Do the math, I know you can.

Trump has been accused of raping a 13 year old along with Jeffery Epstein. It is said the girl was lured by Epstein with promise of a MODELLING career. The lawsuit contains two witness affidavits, one of which corroborates information that no one would have knew at the time incident unless they were actually involved.

Jean-Luc Brunel, found dead in his French prison cell in an apparent suicide, was a suspected co-conspirator of Epstein's. He lived in Trump tower, knew Trump and partied with him as well. Brunel was regarded as an unadulterated piece of (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word), even by some of his fellow predators like Trump-associate Casablancas. He was known for date-raping young models.

Epstein received a highly favorable legal deal from Alex Acosta, who later served as Trump’s labor secretary. When this came to light, Trump strongly defended Acosta. During Trump’s transition period, Acosta reportedly said he was advised that Epstein was linked to intelligence agencies and that he should "leave it alone."

Epstein also had ties to Donald Barr, the father of Trump’s Attorney General, Bill Barr. Donald Barr had served in the O.S.S. during World War II, the predecessor to the CIA, and Bill Barr worked for the CIA between 1971 and 1977.

From 1964 to 1974, Donald Barr was the headmaster of the elite Dalton School in New York City. Despite Epstein being a college dropout, Barr hired him to teach calculus and physics. Even back then, students observed Epstein’s tendency to behave inappropriately around female students.

Donald Barr himself wrote science-fiction literature about underage sex slavery, yes, seriously.

In a 2010 deposition, Epstein was asked if he socialized with Donald Trump. He answered a quick 'yes'. He was then asked if he socialized with Donald Trump in the presence of underage females. He pleaded the 5th, 6th and 14th.

Trump’s former evangelical adviser—a pastor who founded one of the largest megachurches in the United States—is a pedophile. Trump endorsed Roy Moore, a pedophile, for public office—enthusiastically. Trump’s former presidential transition team adviser, George Nader, is also a pedophile—described as a “lifelong pedophile,” to be exact.

The best part of all of this? It's only the tip of the iceberg. There's much more coming to surface.

I agree that the 13 year old case is a little fragile but from what I've read it also wasn't well-handled. I primarily brought that up because it fits with everything else. Epstein abused girls and his alleged reward was not only cash but a modelling career. Trump was involved in that business. He knew these people. He hung out with them. He took them out on yachts. He's made suggestive comments. This is only the tip of the iceberg. The shoe fits.
