    This sounds awfully socialist!

Speaking with reporters on Friday, President Trump said the deal came out of a meeting last week with Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan.

Ty, it’s fine as long as a MAGA president does it. Will the MAGA president take control of more companies?

Ignorant VS. Stupid. MAGA here's your test. They are nationalizing companies.

          TY,

I don’t click ss12’s hyperlinks for various reasons, but I do click yours a majority of the time. Knowing that —- give me your personal opinion on what you posted, short version or long. I have my own opinion based on what I know about the situation — let's see if we agree.

After further looking into some of the details of the deal. I understand the premise of the deal, but I don’t necessarily agree with it. Like the bailout of GM and automakers in the past, and Wall street —--- I think “WE” should stay out of things like this.

            Your thoughts?

The problem is, Intel didn't need bailing out.

I don't mind deals like this when they are absolutely necessary, as I see they were in the case of GM for example. But this? I don't like it.

The money was initially allocated under the CHIPS act to be given out as a grant. I think that's fine but holding equity in a company like Intel for no real reason?

The point of my post wasn't really about the deal though. It's about the hypocrisy of MAGA and Republicans.

This is the party of "small government", remember? This is the party who'll label democrats as socialists at any given moment, remember?

This deal doesn't align with either of those two points.

In saying that, do you think the majority of American voters really care about your point above?

You’ve already established that point. My question was conversation wise Yes or No.

Post #9. I was just looking for a conversation, Yes or No.

                          Anyway —

I don’t think the majority of American voters really care about your point above, or for that matter, my point or opinion.

Which viewpoint? Hypocrisy or the small government stuff?

In all honesty, I was referencing both comments. For conversation sake, nothing more.

Seriously, I don’t “WE” as the collective “We the People” really care anymore what other people think about each other's opinions or views.

Our give a sh!T is broken!
