Family and I hit the road Saturday for a 2 hr drive (despite the weather) to Kentucky's Baddest Bullring, Ponderosa Speedway. When i got there I was thrilled to see one of my favorite drivers there and bring home a great Win... Congrats Aaron Hatton. Great Job!!
Other than that I was shocked with what i watched...1. A very nice and pretty pink and white late model hits the wall... brings out the caution, lets the track officials pull some sheet metal, then he gets his spot back!! WOW!!!! 2. In the Outlaw Sportsman class the "topless"#1 car , should have NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, been sent to the Tail!!! Caution was there when he came into the turn and he was trying to STOP ! 3. I have NEVER seen a tow truck driver (wrecker operator) treat cars the way he did... SHAMEFUL!!

I , myself know how HARD every Driver Works, Saves, Trades, and does what ever they can to be at a Track on Friday or Saturday night of their choice with their Family. I admire each and everyone of them. So I must say for all the tracks I have visited in 2011 "Kentucky's Baddest BullRing" would have to be the Worst Track official's of the year!! Congratulations Ponderosa!
p.s. if you would add salt or butter to your popcorn.. it would be eatable and you would sell more!

You should go to Southern New Mexico Speedway, I think their motto is " if you ain't local, you ain't sh__!" There is a company that video's their races called High Desert Video Productions, And I have one of their DVD"s that you can hear the track officials talking about a local driver causing the wreck when an out-of-towner passed him for the lead. They cut out the rest of the caution, but on the restart, you will see the local that caused the wreck restart with the lead and the guy that passed him was gone (black flagged). a lot of tracks may have some degree of bias for their local drivers, which of course they deny, but how many of them are dumb enough to sell the DVD that proves it right at the track. The dvd is copywrighted, so I can't legally post it, but before you think about racing SNMS as an out-of -towner, you might want to spend the $21 + shipping for the August 20, 2011 DVD, and watch and LISTEN to the first caution in the Super Trucks Main event.

Iceman.... we didnt take a car... thank Goodness!!! I'm not sure who was local or who wasnt... other than the Late Models from what i heard over the speaker. Bad Calls do happen every now and then...Noone is perfect.! Honestly... if i am sitting in the stands and see it... then there is NO REASON the spotters didnt see it! Its a Shame our Dirt Tracks are closing and are coming Ghost Towns for reason's like this! FAVORITISM!

The whole Ponderosa race on Saturday was horrid!.....The track looked as though they cut it with a lawn aerator and spit on it!....I have seen many races at this track and, that was stupid......NO FREAKIN' RACIN'.....NONE.....I hope the promoter goes back to work at Denny's

Here's another candidate for you: 311 Speedway.
Their top weekly class was steel-head late models. One car (#39) was dominating all season and had been tech'd several times but always passed. One night a good car (#9) won by at least a straightaway. The #39 protested and the tech man found #9's motor was illegal. But the track owner likes #9 and hates #39 so he over-ruled the tech man. Owner changed the rules to allow #9's engine. After several people complained, the owner kicked the class out. No more steel-heads, and obvious favoritism. Now that the fan count has declined they're trying to bring steel-heads back but nobody is chancing it.
