As a middle aged guy who grew up in N. Fla on a concrete floor eating catfish we caught in the river and potatoes from the farm we worked on....without bug spray and no AC..........and, as a veteran of The USAF and, having a social security card since I was 6 years old and never haven drawn unemployment I would say............NAILED IT!

Yes this is the same generation that is fighting 2 wars to help ensure our freedom. I'm sure most of them would just love to be able to go to job and do their part. They are not asking for a handout just a chance to have a job to go to. They thought by going to college they would have that chance. I can't believe them some are calling them socialist but, I'm not surprised. They will stoop to any level to discredit these people. It sure was alright when they had their tea party movement but, not alright for these people to have a movement. how pathetic. By having 2 classes of people will not be good for this country and I guess we will have to see how that works out for everyone.

I would say the majority of the OWS protesters are not veterans. Veterans tend to not have much trouble finding work of some kind. The majority of the protesters are students or union workers hired to show up. I doubt very many are working types or they would be at work. Lets call it like it really is. Majority are kids that expect to be carried their entire life just like their parents have done for them so far.

As far as the tea party goes, I have more respect for how they protested. They were not raping, defecating on cars, robbing each other or occupying parks for weeks on end, threatening to fire bomb Macy's, etc. The Tea Party cleaned up after themselves and left the places in as good a shape as when they found it.

If these protesters were really looking to make a change they would be protesting the government not the corporations.

And you don't think their age has something to do with it. Young adults don't always do what's right. I told my son that's why these kids are losing some credibility by their actions. You may be right they need to be protesting the do nothing congress. I mean both sides.

No you are right. I do believe their age has everything to do with it. They will never be taken seriously acting the way they are and protesting against the wrong people. Now don't get me wrong not all are acting this way, but the ones who are are making the rest look real bad. My honest opinion is the majority are using this as a party. Not saying all but would say most of them.

They need to be protesting the gov in general. We have to get this ship righted and going after the very life blood is the wrong approach.

He nailed most of it. But in addition many of these youths are poisoned in Universities and colleges by socialist, communist, and revolutionary teachers and teachings. Don't believe it? Univ. of Alabama is giving class credits to students for participating with these Occupy Wall Street protests. Unions like the SEIU are funding them, and in their own words they want to overthrow the current system. They are being used by leftist organizations to help create chaos and destablize the nation.

The price of a college education has gone up much faster than any other expense. Why? Why does the government take over the student loans and grants? Because they are the all knowing and caring for the people? Nope. It's about control.

Control health care, control education, control the EPA, control the Dept. of Justice, Controlling corporations, controlling who gets government grants and who don't, the list is growing. Wanting to have gun control and internet control eventually.
