Wow, was just down there last week, east coast side, in a really nice condo right on the beach for the whole week, great vacation, lazing on the beach, swimming in the ocean, body boarding etc. Now this week, slam! Here comes Debby. I think it was funny the name of that hurricane, but that story is best left to my friends... lol

I go down there every year. New Smyrna Beach. Love that place, but was down there on vacation when one of the weaker hurricanes came in. Thankfully we were leaving the same day it was supposed to arrive. Surf was good and it wasn't 1000 degrees out so it was nice.

We were in Florida about 20 something yrs ago. In the Kissimmee area. Had a real nice time. Complements of the "Make a Wish Foundation". Very nice area but had a few issues with all the toll booths on the highways, couldn't hardly get up to speed!!! LOL

I love Florida, they have concealed carry there also. That permit and the Utah permit makes me legal in all but ONE state (mine). Much safer in those states that allow the legal carry for protection.
