he needs to watch the replay from the back stretch it clearly showed he came down the 15 car never moved out of his line. gordon wrecked after he tried to hook bowyers rr fender and got up in the rubber.

Not sure what replay your watching, I've watched several times and Gordon never moved down. Bowyer moved up, he even stated on his radio he moved up and accidentally bumped him which caused the left front flat. We can make excuses all day long but it it came straight from the horses mouth so we have to take that for face value. Gordon did admit to retaliating and it's been Long time coming, but that doesn't make it ok. But I'm sure we was ready to face any fines and punishment necessary. It was not bad enought to hurt someone and the drivers know the limitations to that and to say they don't would be our ignorance.

Here is my take on the Bowyer- Gordon mess:

Warning this opinion will be bias for I am a Bowyer fan since he is a Kansas boy and since he is an old dirt tracker....

Clint gets under Jeff in the corner and Clint rubs his left rear getting into the corner. Gordon gets his hairs all crossed up since he got rubbed... Nobody has the stones to rub a former champ from many moons ago, but Bowyer does it and as he goes by Gordon turns into him in spite resulting in the champ cutting his own left front tire down and goes into the wall... All because of his own actions... Gordon gets black flaged from nascar.... as Bowyer comes around his spotter tells him Gordon is waiting for him... Clint can't make up his mind of which way to go and ends up going to the inside and Gordon wrecks Bowyer, the 20 and the 43 all in one big mess. My thoughts on this are if you can't handle getting rubbed your slow and you need to quite if it bothers you that much... Rubbing is racing... These boys get big dollars to race for a living and this is a fact of racing your heart out... Everyone reading this has been rubbed or bumped at least once in your racing adventure... I think the 15 team, 20 team, and 43 team should have all chased him back to his trailer.. Gordon had everything to gain from Wrecking Clint.. He owns half of Jimmy Johnson car... Gordon is a has been and needs to realize it... Jimmy Johnson is the slow boring death of nascar.... Clint is proving him self to be a great racer.... I hope in Homestead Jimmy finishes 43 with a bent car, and Gordon finishes 42 with a wrecked car... Clint finishes frist and the blue duece takes the championship... As far as the team going after Gordon this shows something that has been missing from Nascar..... Team loyality.... Bowyers team really appericates their driver and will stand up for him when there is a large injustice being dealt... Gordon a Chump always has been always will be...

Johnson isn't necessarily boring, he's just a really, really good driver that conducts himself with class, humility and dignity. All three are a character virtue. To some misguided souls that's boring. To some, the bigger the a$$hole the more they like them, and that holds true for many different sports.

It's truly refreshing that Jimmie Johnson, the best, and most successful active driver in NASCAR today also conducts himself in a classy and dignified manner on and off the racetrack and doesn't run his mouth like some lowlife idiot.

On track intentional retaliation really isn't how these things should be settled but NASCAR won't let 'em fist fight anymore. This Gordon/Bowyer deal pales in comparison to what baby stewy did to Matt Kennseth during the early stages of the Daytona 500 a few years ago. Any number of drivers could have been seriously hurt or worse in that one, just 'cause baby stewy went completely weird while driving a racecar.

I am still waiting to see these incidents with Boyer that Gordon is talking about. Martinsville was a disaster waiting to happen on the last restart. Johnson and Gordon were doomed on old tires and Bowyer charged in there, wise or unwise. Johnson nor Gordon were going to win that race when everyone else took tires. Johnson Knew it and everyone else too. But Gordon claiming he was done wrong, while Johnson took a more mature view is what this deal Sunday was about? Not acceptable actions by Gordon and I bet he wishes he never pulled this nonsense. His several incidences with Boyer comment is garbage and just an excuse to cover losing his temper. His glory days are long ago and I am sure he is flustered with his inability to achieve only average results the last several years. Interestingly, one of his biggest supporters DW, made the statement. Everyone knows Gordon Whines a lot and thinks people race him too hard. But he says Gordon doesn't do the payback. Well for starters, might want to ask Sterlin Marlin who he crashed twice on purpose. Sorry Clayton my friend, but your driver really kicked the pooch on this one./smile

Chump! Gordon has been irrelevant since 2003 or before, he knows it and can't take it. He's always been "untouchable" unless he was doint the touching. He got raced and lost his sh**...then really lost his sh**. As I told a friend on mine who's a 24 fan "the 5 time Champ just turned punk".

I don't watch or follow nascar at all, but my vote would be Chump. Mainly because i think nascar is chumpy its self.
