Just wondering what evenone thought of brad getting drunk last night.I know he's young and he deserves to kick back a few but I thought maybe someone should have got him to drink water or something first so he was hydrated before he drank the beer. he11 he was trashed after the first interview and by the time he was on the windtunnel it was just sad looking. I'm in no way putting him down and it was nice to see a guy that just doesn't care about what people think win the championship.

I'm happy for BK winning the Sprint Cup Championship. I watched Brad's Father Bob Keselowski win several races on the dirt driving an ARCA car at The Springfield Mile and the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds "Magic Mile". I remember seeing little Brad running around the pit area after some of those races.
That having been said, BK and Jimmy Johnson are in two different galaxies in terms of accomplishments in NASCAR. Now, if Brad would run off a string of 5 more Cup Championships in a row then we have something to talk about in comparison.
Hopefully Brad will use Jimmy as a yard stick as to how a champion conducts himself. Jimmy has never done anything to tarnish his own reputation and has always represented NASCAR and the sport as a whole in an exemplary manner. Brad would do well to do the same.

Jimmie is about as vanilla as it gets. That will keep the sport growing, not.Curious that we spend more time congratulating people who have succeeded than encouraging people who have not.

Are ya'll kidding? Johnson is washed up!!! I heard it on the TV, he lost two consecutive yrs in a row (redundancy on purpose). I was very glad to see Brad win it for a couple reasons, to get Dodge one on their exit and for Penske. JJ is a good shoe, but he still is vanilla and vanilla don't sell tickets. And about Brads drinkin' who cares, he was celebrating. You ain't never seen a drunk guy before on TV? Heck watch any NASCAR race, you bound to see one... go to a dirt race and I'll guarentee you'll see one in writing...

It will be great to have another NASCAR Champion that isn't a politically correct corporate lackie yes man that isn't afraid to speak what's on his mind and show true raw emotion.Originally posted by CIRF View PostI'm happy for BK winning the Sprint Cup Championship. Hopefully BK continues to be exactly the way he is and not let himself be molded into another NASCAR glad handing robot.....

Yep, that's exactly what NASCAR needs. A complete classless a$$hole for it's flagship division champion that has neither the class, upbringing or the intelligence to conduct and express himself in a manner beyond the 5th grade level.
Don't know what Brad will do or what kind of champion he'll be, but one thing is for sure, Jimmie Johnson is a great driver, the best of this era. Plus he never, ever did or said anything to disgrace or dishonor himself, his family or the sport.
It's hard for the average fan to understand the reasoning that acting in a classy and dignified manner is bad for the sport. Do most fans want a complete a$$hole for the champion. Is that cool?
The only explanation is birds of a feather must flock together!

I'd rather see Brad, Kyle, Tony win than Mr Vanilla Jimmie and his sidekick Matt Kenseth. I guess it is an A$$hole move to have raw emotion. Whoops.Curious that we spend more time congratulating people who have succeeded than encouraging people who have not.
