D. Vitale Turn up the Volume

Watching the BB game on ESPN. Can hardly hear D Vitale's comments. Is Vitale so loud that ESPN turns his mic down or has Vitale lost his voice? Watched other games this season and same problem hearing Vitale. Maybe my hearing is shot?

Vitale had throat surgery about five years ago for vocal cord lesions. They may be coming back.
