But this cannot go on forever, at least not without destroying the savings of ordinary Americans and making ordinary goods less affordable. On the other hand, unwinding the Fed’s Latin American–style “quantitative easing†will be extremely difficult without crashing the economy or driving up the government’s borrowing costs. All of this is happening without meaningful congressional oversightberanke and your libs in action been wrkinf obamacare for 100 years guys just read the article

Yes they did all that and more. You didn't say if these things was good or bad for the country. Some are some are not. You didn't say anything about the doubling or tripling of bureaucracy doing the same thing. You didn't say that a lot of these programs created dependency on big government. You didn't say that even though the democrats created Social Security, President Johnson with the help of a democratic congress opened the trust fund to cover non appropriated spending, which will eventually be it's demise. Yes he paid for the Viet Nam war with it, to avoid a debt ceiling raise. Of course once he opened the money tree, the republicans jumped on the band wagon and started picking. Now the only difference is the republicans would rather screw you out of it than owe it to you. You didn't say how the democratic Dodd Frank bill struck down Glass Stegal bill. Something that worked to protect the average American for sixty years and two short years after the change, we had a stock market crash and too big to fail bail out. You didn't say how the EPA created by the democrats is now used against the public's welfare as much as it protects. Well a bird is more important that cheaper gasoline or the jobs that go with that. If a local government wants your land, they send in the EPA to condemn it. You didn't say the SEC created by the democrats very rarely prosecutes and if they do, it's an affordable fine and no jail time. The list goes way to long to write here. The fact is the Democratic party is just as bad if not worse than the republican party. But we will have the banner waivers posting slanted links proclaiming greatness. They are tools. Don't buy it.Originally posted by kidrock View PostLast edited by Bubstr; 03-10-2013, 10:29 PM.

The bad that party has done far outweighs any good. Still scratching my head about these so called goods things and where they are leading us. It's really sad.

Yes you are right not everything they have done has been good for us but, some of what they have done has been. There is no disputing that but, many have benefited from some of these things and will continue to for years to come.Originally posted by Bubstr View PostYes they did all that and more.
