    Congrats to:

The State and the People of South Dakota!!!! Their Governor signed a bill into law today that allows teachers and school employees to carry weapons during school if they wish. No one is mandatory, just if you want to. Good deal!!!!

That's kinda scary. I know the school I went to, the majority of teachers could carry guns and it wouldn't have made me uneasy at all. But there were one or two that had no business ever having a gun in their hands.

You wait. When some kid gets ahold of a gun a teacher has and kills someone, or some teacher shoots a kid when it wasn't self defense, this whole "arm the teachers" thing is going to take a whole new turn.

Its not a matter of if, its a matter of when.

I'd have to look at it in a view that took odds into account.

What we do know, is all of these shootings took place in a gun free zone. This makes sense to me. If I was out to kill as many as I could in a short amount of time, I wouldn't want any competition either.

Will the odds of teachers shooting children or children shooting teacher or other children, with the teachers gun, create more fatalities than keeping a gun free zone.

This may seem like a cold hard way to look at this, but this world of mass Murder is a cold hard fact.

One thing for sure, gun control and keeping gun free zones is not working.

I believe the cost effective way to cure this problem, is to station the satellite police forces in these schools instead of paying for satellite cop shops along with teacher arms.

Just a side note here, violent crime is down, way down, but we have better new casting so it makes it look worse then it is. Another thing that no one touts, the number of homes that have guns in them is down from about 52% 15 yrs ago to about 37% today. So the argument of gun proliferation and rampant crime are contrived. How many of you knew that? Where and why do you suppose that comes from......

Yes, I heard that gun ownership is down as compared to several years ago. The CONTROL agenda picks and chooses it's points very well and leaves out the truth so conveniently. Plus they actually lie to people through the partnered press.
