That was less of a schooling than agreement. the points where,
1 True capitalism is not bad.
2 Crony capitalism, Government picking winners and losers is bad.
3 Something needs to be done or it will implode.
What they disagreed about is what needs to be done. Peter Schiff thinks going back to the regulations that allowed true capitalism to work is the way to go. This will be almost impossible, because You can't get Congress to vote against their own pocket book. But While Crony Capitalism has control of main stream media, we have this. An uncontrolled internet. SO FAR.
Richard Wolff thinks all business should be turned into a CO-OP, sharing risks and rewards. Which would not work, because anyone with risk should have some say about direction. Management by the worker probably wouldn't be good for the business and not tolerated by the true capitalist.
If you think about it, this is all about the disparity of income of the profit maker and the employee. The laws, regulations or lack of and the media influence are all stacked against the employee. Their bargaining power has been undermined by immigration, legal and illegal, by undermining unions, by an unbalanced tax code, by unfair trade, manipulation of currency, by wages not keeping pace with increased production. All of these things decrease the circulation of money and that creates a stagnant economy, which will eventually destruct.
