Does matter, as long as liberal/progressives in both parties are in control. Moderate democrats and conservative republicans are a dime a dozen anymore. Look at Liberman, democrats threw him overboard. Cruz and conservatives is hated by progressive republicans (RINO's.) The establishment in DC has to GO! I want term limits for congress. 5 terms for House of Reps, and 2 terms for senate members. This government simple tells it citizens what they want and need, ignoring the majority of its people.
As for Corp welfare, I against goverment spending on private, corprations. If the business, bank, farm, Oil and gas companies, wall street, cant make it on their own, they simply should fail.

Go ahead and concentrate on liberal, conservative, moderate, rhino or blue dog. it's all subterfuge. You say your against corporate welfare but If you voted last year you voted for one of their pawns.

What gets me is everybody thanks that if they vote for republican candidate or the democrat candidate that they will get something different. Until the citizens realize if they really want a change they are going to have to think out side of the box and vote for another party. I laugh when people say "I'm voting for the lesser of the 2 evils". Evil still wins but they are caught up believing that one of these party's are going to make thing better. Neither of these 2 parties have made anything better in the last 30 years, if anything things are worst. Keep voting the way you are and nothing will change.
Haters don't really hate you, in fact they hate themselves because you are a reflection of what they wish to be.

Ironically, the people living in the red counties and the red states are receiving per capita much more federal entitlement spending than those folks living in the blue counties and states.

This is a interesting statement. Care to share what where included in the entitlements? I could see it if all disbursements to states or counties where used. Most traditional welfare or entitlements go to individuals and Blue states generally have more population.

I think he is referring to this map that shows all the states that get more than $1 back in federal money for each $1 paid in. If you do some digging, it shows that most "red states" get more than $1 back from Federal Government spending for each $1 the people in the state pay in. Which makes it pretty ironic that those states are Republican leaning, while all the Dem leaning states get less than $1 back for each dollar paid in.

If you think about it, it makes perfect sense. Republicans vote to reward their own for voting Republican, and they buy those votes with everyone's tax dollars. Then they go scream it's the Dems who love getting government money.

If you look at the states though, a bunch of them have high rates of federal sub contractors and government employees, and I think they count all the Federal money spent in those states, not just "welfare" or "entitlements."

I found a link to it. I'm guessing that these all have one thing in common, beside being republican. They are all sparely populated as compared with most blue states. They just don't pay much tax.

The botom line is, they all take the money, they just don't want to pay the tab.

Why Republicans shouldn't be upset with the ACA.
The Democrat’s version of health insurance would have been cheaper, simpler and more popular, so why did we enact the Republican version?

They don't pay as much taxes because their incomes are not near what they are in cities as well as taxable services. How dare you accuse rural people of not WANTING to pay the tab. You are getting as absurd as tnie! And that's all people in gerenal, not political preference.

Cut the BS, no one wants the tab. You are rural too and you have said you didn't want to pay the tab for blue city welfare. Nothing irritates me more than paying high gas tax, knowing the biggest chunk will not repair roads but support inter city transit and a lot of those people don't even buy gas or put the miles on like us rural folks.

If everyone is paying their fair share, it must have something to do with unequal distribution. Either way, it is ironic that the ones that complain the most, get the most.

No BS about it. You drive more in rural and you pay gas taxes through the nose for it. Your statement seemed like a shot at rural people, at that is the BS!

Mr. Moyer has expanded my knowledge. Of what not to listen to. I've already seen and heard what he has to say. I just disagree with his points of view.

He is supportive of the socialist movement. That's your bag not mine.
