Here is what I say if the Republicans truly want to do something to get people off of welfare and government programs then send the President a bill that will address the Problem. Remember they don't need one single Democrat to vote for it they have the Majority in the house. I realize they need the Senate to vote for it as well but, at least the people would really find out who is for it or who isn't. Then we will see who has the guts to really do something about it. They always talk a big game now do something about it.

Did he not talk about people being stuck in poverty by government programs? And did Mike Lee align himself with the Republican Party and if so, then like I said pass a bill to deal with it once and for all.

yes but not the big govt republican we have now in office pass what bill keep the govt out of our lives like your wonderful Mihelle telling parents and children what to eat first of all she is the first lady which has no say so as far as govt policy

I'm kind of curious. What would you change to get the government out of your life. What I mean is what are they doing that you want them out of?

You really wish I was but, I have heard that crap from you for quite some time now. It does not matter if Reid brings it up or not but, at least you can have it be known you are really serious and you are not just using it for talking points. I like when you guys say the dems keep in social programs but, the Republicans don't do a damm thing about it so, really isn't both parties that do it. Come on write a strong bill that says you have one year to get a job and then you will be cut off of all social programs. Right Mud come on you have to be for it. Get your guys to stand up and write a bill and bring it to the American people and let them decide.

I can tell you where I would like government out of my life as a citizen.

Stay out of marriage issues (marriage is a spiritual issue not a government issue and by DEFINITION it is between one man and one woman)

Stay out of gun issues (I have a right to bear arms, PERIOD)

Stay out of contraception issues

Stop condoning murder of innocent unborn children.

Stop wasting money with NO improvements (i.e. EPA, OSHA, IRS, dept. of education, and countless other government institutions that cost faaaar more than they do good).

Institute term limits to stop career politicians so no particular person has years of affect on my life as a citizen.

Stop telling me how I have to run my business.

Stop telling me what I have to buy (i.e. Health insurance)

Stop telling me what I have to pay more for because YOU say it's not good for me! (i.e. "Sin tax", Taxing soft drinks, cigarettes etc.)
