The Indy 500 paid Ryan Hunter-Reay almost $2.5 million to win which figures out to just under $5000 a mile.

The Daytona 500 paid Earnhardt a little over $1.5 million to win which figures out to just over $3000 per mile.

The Eldora Million paid Donnie Moran $20,000 a mile. Actually it's more than that because Eldora is not a full half mile.

The Dream figures out to $2000 a mile, or a little more due to the track not being a full half mile.

Knoxville Sprint Nationals pays $150,000 to win which figures out to $6000 per mile.

Not sure what your point is and I hesitate to engage you because you generally don't know what you're talking about. And, don't let your head explode due to an open wheel race paying more per mile than any annual dirt late model or e-mod race. LOL!!

None of this has anything to do with the topic.

This turned into a real d!ck measuring contest since the last time I checked it out. I'm still trying to figure out what all of the arguing is about?

The annual canned potted meat eating tournament( which you are the 4 time reigning champion) pays pretty well, but I don't think it measures up to any of the payouts of the large auto races that your speaking of.........
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

That would be the triple crown of horse racing.......for winning the Kentucky derby California chrome won almost 1.5 million on that race alone and ran 1 and 1/4 mile, almost 100 g for every tenth of a mile run.

That is not to be confused with the triple crown of horse like eating( again, which you are the reigning champ) of the potted meat international chow hound contest, the chili dog face stuffing Grand Prix and the hardest of all,( and the one you currently hold the world record in) , the pork chop pig out competition.

Congrats again for winning your coveted triple crown of mega pie hole filling.

So 225k for running a quarter mile race( actually they have to run a MINIMUM of 4 to 6 quarter mile runs to go through the bracket and get to the final) is more money than somebody winning almost 1.5 million for winning at a mile and a quarter????

Just for a quick math lesson......225 per quarter mile x 5( the amount of runs a drag racer would have to make to run a mile and a quarter) = 1.125 million.

We are talking about most money per mile raced aren't we???( or that was your challenge I believe)

A far cry from the 1.5 million for winning the derby total that you say you trumped me on.........like everything else you post litey, your a little short on the facts and accuracy segments.

                              Checktrump.......
