    Whatever Become Of..........................

Travis Pastrana? This guy was supposed to be the savior of NASCAR with a "huge" X games youth following and the ability to drive and win in any type car but only had 4 top 10's in his whole NASCAR career.

Just wandered what a washed out X games guy does after the bright lights go off.

CIRF, I don't know about Travis but, that Larson kid sure did put on a heck of a show yesterday didn't he. He gave the veteran cup guys a run for their money. That was heck of a good finish.

No doubt ! What's not to like about the young Larson? This kid is the show even when he doesn't win. That first win is close. When he gets that monkey off his back, look out. And to think he's doing it in Chip's equipment. That just shows ya what kind of wheelman he is. Kyle is gonna be fun to watch for many years.

You are so right. Could you imagine if he was with Hendricks or Gibbs right now. I would guess at least 2 or 3 wins by now and in the chase.

No doubt about it. That kid let it all hang out yesterday and man was it fun to watch. He gained a lot of respect from some of the top notch drivers in Nascar.

I don't think he'll go to Hendricks, they have young Elliot to bring up from JR Motorsports.. The team he is at now has plenty of resources, he's proven that. Both He and Jamie Mac ran extremely well last week...

You make a valid point but, Hendricks and Gibbs can see talent and would be very hard to pass up if Larson became available especially if a sponsor wants to sponsor him. I could see Kasey on the inside looking out.

Scuttlebutt has Elliot taking over the Gordon ride when Jeff retires in a couple of years, so they would have to dump Kasey to put Kyle in....could happen, I guess...but if Jeff doesn't want to retire, then I'd bet on Kasey gone and Elliot in and sooner rather then later....I don't know what Kane's contract is dated to but he better be careful cause he isn't bustin a grape yet... and RP is all about business, I'd bet the number 9 will go to Hendrick for Elliot.... and Hendrick will pay dearly for it....

Kasey has never got it done in anything and lord knows it isn't because he hasn't had good rides. I see him gettin the door sooner than Gordon gets a gold watch.

A friend of mine was one of the top guys at Goodwrench racing/aftermarket. I will never forget what he said around 1998 when he was promoted and went to visit all the NASCAR race teams. First he went to RCR, Goodwrench's team and thought he was in race car heaven. After seeing all the other teams he went to Hendrick's last. All Dave said was all the other teams are on Earth and Hendrick's was truly heaven. When he retired he said Hendricks was still pulling away. It isn't a money thing it's if they want him.

IMO if Larson leaves Ganassi he will land at one of Hendricks satellite teams and I'd bet it would be Stewart Haas.
But will Larson ever leave Ganassi?? Larson's passion is open wheel cars and Ganassi has one of the best open wheel Indy teams in the business and I bet we'll be seeing Larson pulling the "Double" in the very near future.
The only other team I could see Larson jumping to is Penske because of the open wheel deal too but Penske has one heck of a good kid coming up in Ryan Blaney and I don't see them giving up on him.
Either way with Larson, Blaney, and Elliott the Cup series may be worth watching again.....
