It's amazing what Larson has accomplished in such a short time. I recall back in 2011 when he was running a USAC sprint car and midgets and won the Horn Memorial at Du Quoin driving a Silver Crown car for Keith Kunz it was clearly evident that Larson was a special talent. Here we are just 3 short years later and he's mixing it up for the lead in NASCAR's premier division on NASCAR's fastest track in a ride that the former driver, who was world class in every way, couldn't seem to put up front.
Kyle Larson was the best I ever seen on dirt. To my knowledge he never drove a dirt late model but if he had I firmly believe he would have won, and won big in a very short time.Last edited by CIRF; 09-16-2014, 08:44 AM.

I agree, hpm. I doubt Larson is, or will be, allowed to venture out into other forms of racing. He's worth too much money to too many people. However, I also agree that he'll be allowed to do the double on Memorial Day Weekend and he'll have a good enough ride to seriously challenge for the win in The Indy 500, not just be there for publicity and to hone his public image.Originally posted by hpmaster View PostI understand the open wheel thing but if offered the money, security and longevity of NASCAR it becomes a non issue.

Travis needed more time that's for sure but, just not sure he had the talent to stay in Nascar. As far as Danica she has been improving form when she first started that's for sure. I highly doubt she will stick around after next year unless a sponsor and or nascar wants her around but, I will give her credit though for going out every week and trying her best to get it done. Especially with all the naysayers against her.Originally posted by jbird88 View Postthink pastrana started doin off road stuff again and supportin his wife in what she is in to from his last quote on his future .don't recall what she does but he sure did wreck ALOT of cars @ roush but redbull paid for most of it! I would like a chance at that backin of support! he could wreck 3 cars in a weekend and stil have one to drive/almost like a daniaca wit no tits! he got balls but no titz is what ended his nascar future !

Unless he went to Penske, which I doubt that will happen being as they are grooming Ryan Blaney, where exactly would he go in the Blue Oval camp that's worth his talents??Originally posted by iceman View PostEveryone seems to see Larson staying in a Chevrolet. But the blue oval teams aren't blind. I see a bidding war in Larsons future.
Roush??? Even with Penske's tech help Roush is hardly a power house team anymore...
So who else from the Blue Oval camp??

Roush wont stay down long. But I was actually thinking of Penske starting a third team - if they can get Larson, they can get sponsors. I don't think he'd jump ship to go to the 9 car, or any of the toyota teams except JGR (which is full up), or even RCR for that matter. IMHO

I can't see any reason for him to leave where he's at, he certainly isn't going to run any better anywhere else then he is now....and his prowess, oddly enough, has brought Jamie up the ladder with him. Rising tide deal I guess. They have always had the HP, it was the handle they were missing at TGR....for what ever reason, Larson has been able to get them to change what they've been doing and head a new direction, and it seems to be working...the knowledge, no doubt, was already there, Larson's appearance seemingly triggered something along a new thought process..
