Long time 4m reader had an account years ago.. This isn't dirt related but just curious if any car guys could answer... I have a 15 rt charger base 400hp but it sounds like a 4 cylinder.. Is factory exhaust that bad and would having a flow master kit installed or something similar make it sound like a more muscular car? Everyone asks me if its a 6 cylinder...
Dodge Charger question..

Description 2015 Challenger R/T 5.7L Cat-back AMT 409S
Application Summary Fits 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T with 5.7L V8 engine.
This is the only application that flow master was showing for 2015 they didn't show a charger application for 15 just the challenger..If you can't race it or take it to bed! It ain't worth having!

Do you think there will be a huge difference in sound? I'm all for putting an exhaust kit on it... I just don't know if it's just the motor that's tuned to sound like that or if it is all exhaust making it sound weak. You can't rev it up and sound cool at all. My 318 Dodge Ram truck sounds way more b.a. Lol

You will get more of a deeper tone with a cat back system on it yes.. I tried looking on Borla's website as well and they didn't even show an application for the challenger.. So it might be a hard item to find right now I'm not 100% for sureIf you can't race it or take it to bed! It ain't worth having!

It has 900 miles haven't really tuned it up yetOriginally posted by High_HorseWhen was it's last tune up?
Just really glad I drove my impala to sc today, my charger is black with 20"black wheels, beats edition.. Blacked out windows.. Drove 55 through Dandridge tn today on 40 east hit a small construction zone and at the end of it I went back up to 78 in a 70... So cop gives me 78 in a 55.. State trooper, no workers even present this was 730am yet he wrote workers present.

If you like an annoying drone use those "Drone Masters"… that exhaust note gets pretty tiring after a short while. Even Flowmaster makes a muffler now without their famous annoying exhaust note… most chambered mufflers will sound the same.Member of the Luxemburg Speedway Hall of Fame
