From what I've seen Fallon couldn't carry Carson's dirty undies. The funny thing is that Fallon is probably the best they could come up with, which really is an indicator of how low the quality of the talent pool is these days. Really sad and the viewing audience are the big losers.

Replacing Carson would be like replacing Elvis.............the demographic that Fallon appeals too have no idea what the are missing in not having seen Johnny.

Fallon is just not funny to me. If he was not such a political activist I might find him tolerable but he is nothing compared to Johnny Carson.

Fallon is not only humorless, but he let's his ideologies seep into his humor and his interviewing technique. Carson never did that and he was still funny. Fallon alienates 50% of his viewers from the git-go and then says it's only "satire" to try to validate himself.

As I said before Carson was/is the best and all the rest are merely very bad copycats.
