For once, I agree with you Nate! Religion does kill. That's what happens when one "believes" and "worships" something dead!
That's what separates Christianity from religion. We believe and truly worship a holy entity that is very much alive! Jesus was seen by 500 plus witnesses after his crucifixion.

Some questions to ponder in relation to the overall discussion. How is Christianity not a religion? The definition of religion is "a collection of commonly held beliefs, faiths, or views relating to humanity;" is this not what Christianity is?
Are we seriously advocating that the US invade another politically sovereign middle eastern nation, that has not directly attacked the US, and has not asked for such assistance in fighting their insurgency? How'd that work out the last time we tried this?Comment

The main difference is that, Christianity worships a living God. The Bible states over 500 witnesses saw him alive after his crucifixion. Jesus had to suffer a horrible death on the cross and arise from the dead to prove he was God in the flesh. His death is our payment for our sin, but only if we ask him. Obama, against the wishes of most of his intel agencies, bowed down to the public and his party to bring our troops home. The religion question wasn't actually addressed with that answer, but that's ok we'll move on.
This is the second ironic opinion formed. Bush signed the original troop withdrawal and Obama saw that policy through. Minimal loss of life? On who's part? Quite a few civilian and not a small amount of military deaths from the stats I saw. As to how it ended overall, yes Iraq is a free nation, but a more politically and ethnically fractured one no?
Should a President simply nullify all prior agreements with other politically sovereign entities? See prior paragraph.Comment
