Kid when you realize that they are the same thing and there is no different between the two. Then you will understand why we should be voting for a 3rd party. Kid at least you can admit when your party doesn't have a decent candidate. These republican will make all kinds of excuses for their candidates.

Hey kid can you believe you are annoying Clayton?

Haters don't really hate you, in fact they hate themselves because you are a reflection of what they wish to be.

Yeah, they like to talk the talking points but, they don't like to take action. Yeah the Donald should have run as a 3rd party candidate.

Issue a memo directing every U.S. Attorney’s Office to renew domestic violence outreach efforts. In the event of an emergency, victims of domestic violence should call 911 or otherwise contact state or local law enforcement officials, who have a broader range of options for responding to these crimes. To provide an additional resource for state, local, and tribal law enforcement and community groups focused on domestic violence, the Attorney General is issuing a memo directing U.S. Attorney’s Offices around the country to engage in renewed efforts to coordinate with these groups to help combat domestic violence and to prevent prohibited persons from obtaining firearms.

This is the one that the pissed off ex wife will use to clean out her husbands gun collection....I know from whence I speak, my daughter in law hung my son out to dry on a domestic violence charge... fortunately for my son, my grand son was there and stood up for him, said nothing happened.... if my grandson isn't there, my son loses his government job with twenty years accrued service.... so don't tell me it won't happen...

          • Dedicate significant new resources to increase access to mental health care. Despite our recent significant gains, less than half of children and adults with diagnosable mental health problems receive the treatment they need. To address this, the Administration is proposing a new $500 million investment to help engage individuals with serious mental illness in care, improve access to care by increasing service capacity and the behavioral health workforce, and ensure that behavioral health care systems work for everyone. This effort would increase access to mental health services to protect the health of children and communities, prevent suicide, and promote mental health as a top priority.
          • Include information from the Social Security Administration in the background check system about beneficiaries who are prohibited from possessing a firearm. Current law prohibits individuals from buying a gun if, because of a mental health issue, they are either a danger to themselves or others or are unable to manage their own affairs. The Social Security Administration (SSA) has indicated that it will begin the rulemaking process to ensure that appropriate information in its records is reported to NICS. The reporting that SSA, in consultation with the Department of Justice, is expected to require will cover appropriate records of the approximately 75,000 people each year who have a documented mental health issue, receive disability benefits, and are unable to manage those benefits because of their mental impairment, or who have been found by a state or federal court to be legally incompetent. The rulemaking will also provide a mechanism for people to seek relief from the federal prohibition on possessing a firearm for reasons related to mental health.

More parts, this stuff is up to the descression (sp) of a of a government employee, who may or may not have the proper education and up to Dr. who may or may not have the proper education to make that call...

So Mud nothing has really changed. That same incident happens every day in the USA. If that same incidents happens a week from now it will still have the same outcome. If the incident was factual then the law enforcement will have more choices. Cheaper to keeper her.

And that is exactly the point...this new "Gun Law" will do nothing but plug up the court system if its enacted.... which I'm fairly certain it won't be... it will be challenged and tied up in court for years...

So doing what all of you right wingers have been asking for now is wrong? Just enforce the laws we already have. I talked to a lot of co-workers(who own several guns) today and they all agreed with me it was just political theater. As far as the domestic violence here is a fact what law enforcement have to keep in mind when dealing with it.
Of women murdered by men, 93 percent are killed by someone they know -- and the majority are intimate partners of their killers. There are 33 women killed every week.
The reason we have gun laws is because of someone bad behavior that the majority of population deemed a law was necessary to correct the behavior.

So obviously we as a nation we need to spend more on mental health. I can't believe that Obama only wanted to spend 500 million on mental health. President Carter and congress wanted 800 million back in 1980. Clayton think for bringing that fact up. Another thing I found in my research was more citizen commit suicides than actually are killed in wars. So spending all of the USA budget on all these wars we should be spending a lot more on the budget for mental health issues.
I also seen where in 2012 in the Afghanistan war there were 349 soldiers committed suicides and 295 were killed in combat. Let that sink in Clayton 349 suicide 295 in combat we have a problem here.

So Clayton in your other post(31 & 39 On Donald gets it right) where you indicated that spending money on mental health issues was only for political reason to gain votes is total BS.

Please Dirtman explain how you would do it without spending money on it. Tells us Libs how to do it for free because if there is away we want to know about it. I mean you might be right just look at all of the money that the right wing war mongers(New world order) have spent on all of the wars. We are no safer today then we were 40 years ago.

Imagine the thought process, if you can. Let's curb gun violence by making it tougher on law abiding citizens.

                                Yep......that'll do it! LOL!
