planning on flying down for our first trip to Eastbay from Michigan, just wondering if anyone has any tips, where to stay/where not to stay, info to make the trip go a little smoother.. thanks guys!

Jensen, start a thread on the dirt late model gossip board and ask your questions there. There are a bunch of guys there that will be happy to steer you in the right direction.

I wish I could help you but I have relatives that live close enough to East Bay that I've never had to worry about lodging, etc.
