Kid, the key words in your post are "I think Kyle is every bit as good as JJ". The reason all sports keep track of individual and team performances is to maintain an ongoing yardstick of statistical data by which all participants and teams are judged. Stats do not lie and that separates the "I think" factor to hard and fast numbers.

We can all "think" whatever we want, but the numbers are the only definitive gauge that can be used for comparison. And since pee wee jr. and Jimmie have performed in the same era then the statistical comparison is even more valid. Pee wee started out with the most successful team in the sport over the past 30 years so lack of equipment and technical support was never an issue.

Well I will agree as far as the team goes JJ team has been better but, in not going to say JJ is a better driver. Did you forget that JJ has been the BEST team in the sport for how many years now. They have the most employees and money out of any of them.

According to some of the most prestigious drivers in NASCAR, Kyle Busch is second to none... put that in your ole pipe and smoke it..... Ask Jr Johnson who he'd want to pilot a car for him... Jeff Gordon, need a few more? You see, all you have is your hatred for Kyle, and you throw a couple of numbers here and there to make it "LOOK" like you know what your talking about, however, it boils down to you just don't like the guy... all you guys that think Tony is so good, won't even come close to what Kyle did last year...

In the end the driver has to go out and win the races and championships. The driver is the one holding the steering wheel and mashing the gas and at this point in time Johnson has won 6 times more legitimate championships and twice the number of victories as pee wee jr. Your obsessive, deep seated hatred for JJ cannot/will not change that. No amount of celebrity endorsements, whether real or imagined, can change the numbers.

I am merely pointing out facts and reality, nothing more, nothing less.

I personally can't hate someone whom I've never met and have never had any kind of interaction with but it seems you can, and do, in the case of Jimmie Johnson!

It seems as if you are most resentful of the fact that Jimmie Johnson is an exemplary person with an impeccable personal resume on and off the track. Kid, I've never considered myself a fan of JJ's but there is a lot to like about him. Not the least is what you say and the fact that he represents the sport with the utmost class and dignity. Much like The King, David Pearson, Terry & Bobby Labonte and Ned Jarrett, among others. Those guys conducted themselves in a way that indicated they'd been given a proper upbringing, unlike many of the drivers of today.

I can sympathize with you dirtMAN! As I said in another thread, I'm working on taxes and a primal scream is needed from time to time!

And just for the record, I don't hate pee wee jr. Quite to the contrary I was his biggest fan from about August through the last race of the season and he's always been a source of humor. It's just that he, along with his brother, were never taught any manners in their formative years. I was going to say they didn't learn any manners growing up but that would be an obvious oxymoron. Nope, don't hate JJ at all, rather admire him, but CIRF you really should watch NASCAR, then you'd know that Kyle is about as mellow as JJ.... But your hatred for him won't allow you to see that...

Mellow? JJ isn't mellow, he possess what is called humility, manners, class and dignity, concepts your boy has never been taught to embrace, let alone make them part of his persona and character. Those real virtues are almost always passed down from parents. In the case of the pee wee jr. and his brother (among others), obviously not.

No long season for me mud, I was only interested last year because it was important that NASCAR further humiliate itself with a part time racer becoming the champion.

As far as pee wee bein' up on the pipe, can't disagree, he acts like he's on the pipe most of the time!

And once again, please notify me when he wins 5 in a row and 6 total (6 legitimate that is) and has 75+ Cup victories. Then you MIGHT be able to start chirpin'! I'd say let me know when he learns some manners, humility, class and dignity but I'm pretty sure that train left the station when he was about 10 years old.
