Another Rock Legend Passes Away

It's been a tough month or so for the rock world. David Bowie, Glenn Frey and now Paul Kantner of Jefferson Airplane all have passed away recently.

I saw Jefferson Airplane at Assembly Hall on the campus of The University of Illinois and they were one of the half dozen best rock shows I've seen to date. Kantner was a great rhythm guitarist and a great song writer!

Rest in peace Mr. Kantner.

It was Jefferson Airplane at Assembly Hall. Can't remember the name of the backup band.

I saw Jefferson Starship, as well, but many years later at Horton Field House at Illinois State University and they were backed up by 38 Special. That was a good show, too.
