If you had five cents worth of brains, you'd know Trump hasn't asked for a dime from anyone... I even think what ever money has been donated was given to a Vet's organization...Originally posted by plunks7 View PostAnd you are? Better look at yourself in the mirror. The fact that Trump has put the Vets at the forefront of his campaign is worthwhile... if nothing else, it brings attention to some of the issues befalling some veterans...

Are you Butt hurt or what? Pull the rope out will ya. I think he asked 3 times!!!!!! And also got to keep it. That's pretty good for 5 cents? I don't find "The Donald ' Very smart either. Gave that money to Vets (which was nice ) because he couldn't answer maybe 3 or 4 questions. Now he can take his mangina out of Iowa.

No, you got your moneys worth, The Donald has not asked for any money...period, here is the headline from I believe the NYT:Originally posted by plunks7 View PostAre you Butt hurt or what? Donald Trump received nearly $4 million in unsolicited campaign donations
He did not give the campaign funds to the Veterans, that would be illegal... I was wrong about that, however, he has had several fund raisers for the Vets this last year...
Other Vet deals the Donald has funded....with his own money....
Donald Trump has been the recipient of fierce criticism by some who believe that he doesn’t do enough to help veterans.
A deeper dive into some of the billionaire businessman’s past philanthropic efforts, however, reveals that he has actually been rather generous with America’s retired soldiers – including singlehandedly sponsoring the 50th anniversary of the New York Veterans’ Day parade.
Per a report by UPI, the 1995 parade was attended by more than 500,000 people – making it the largest military parade ever held in the city. Trump is believed to have contributed $200,000 personally and raised another $300,000 in exchange for being named the event’s grand marshall.
Parade director Tom Fox told the paper at the time that Trump effectively “saved the parade.â€
For his part, Trump called the money he donated to the parade:
“…the single most important thing I’ve ever done. This is more important than all of my buildings and my casinos.
This is my way of saying thank you to all the men an women in the armed services who have made it possible for me to become a success. Without them freedom and liberty would be gone.â€â€
Another report from The New York Times, also written back in 1995, discusses how Trump came to the parade organizers’ aid when they had less than $2 in the event’s bank account.
Per another article published by Business Insider, Trump gave $1 million to the parade back in 1987 after the American Legion stopped producing it in part over the organizers’ decision to allow gay veterans to participate.
Other pro-veteran projects that Trump has funded include a $1 million donation to the New York City Vietnam Veterans Memorial Plaza in Lower Manhattan.
Trump skipped the Fox News Republican debate last week in order to host a fundraiser benefitting veterans in Des Moines, Iowa. According to his campaign, $6 million was raised for various veterans groups – including a $1 million donation by the billionaire himself.Last edited by mudslinger47; 02-02-2016, 01:16 AM.

Two things. First. How did skipping debate work for Trump?
Second and its a BIG question. Why don't the democrats even have a debate on Fox News??????????????????

We will see about Trump because he wasn't expected to win Iowa to begin with.Originally posted by dirtisforracin View PostTwo things. First. How did skipping debate work for Trump?

Has Fox News even proposed a debate to the Dems. That's the first thing that needs to be ask and if they have I would guess because Hillary doesn't want to be exposed more then she already has been.Last edited by kidrock; 02-02-2016, 01:07 PM.

The Democrat party can't afford to be asked real questions. So they get a pass.Originally posted by dirtisforracin View PostTwo things. First. How did skipping debate work for Trump?

Rubio is the most electable IMO. As for Fox, i have no problem with them, even though I am not in agreement with everything they say or do. They are a business and they are trying to appeal to everyone. What i think is amazing is how chicken the Dem candidates are of coming on the network. That is hilarious. When I think about, the Dems are trying to grab the ignorant vote making ridiculous
promises. I guess they figure they cannot get questioned and chance being exposed. LOL
