Yet all retirees can't even get a one penny raise. As well as the disabled. Obama gets an 18% on his way out. Hows that for spitting in the faces of good Americans?

I would say each state should decide if it's best for their state. Take California for instance and how much it cost just to live there. The cost of everything compared to other states. I don't think it should be a national thing but, state by state and let the people of that state decide.

At $15/hour, the price of that Big Mac will move up to $12! Wonder why no one considers the consequences?

Yeah 15 might not be a good number especially for all states. That's it's better for each state decide some might say where it is now is enough.

Name a state where $15 would be something that the state would want to do.

I believe it was in Seattle that when the wage was raised to $15 an hour, workers were asking their hours be cut so as not to lose their welfare benefits.

There are several articles on the increase of the minimum wage. The $15 wage will increase the price of the Big Mac from $3.99 to $4.16 a increase of .17 cents. The minimum wage should be $21.16 to day if you adjust for inflation since 1968. At that wage the big Mac would raise the price to $1. At the $7.75 wage we are living at the 1924 standards. In your gentleman theory we should be dropping the prices of everything. If you want to keep minimum wage low then you need to drop the price of everything. If inflation drives the price up on everything then wages should go up accordingly.
