Not a Tony hater at all, but I had to laugh that during the race he was complaining about Almirola racing him to hard and DW saying "What the heck?" "Isn't that what you get paid for?" Most all of the drivers are very generous to various funds and charities... they're pretty good people when you get down right to it.... even the ones who are paid far less give back to the communities in various ways.... Don't find that much in any of the stick and ball sports...

Yep, you is right on the money. Reminds me of AJ and Mario late in their careers. In fact I had an opportunity to speak with Mario after he retired. I had a business friend who was his friend too. He was trying to meet us for lunch, but is wife said no. He had to stay until the builders came to work on house expansion. We wound up talking on the phone for about 30 minutes. If you know racing, these guys love to talk. My point is. At one point in the conversation I brought up he was kind of cranky his last few years. He laughed and said, that is when I knew it was time. I know how much Tony does for racing, and he will always be my racing hero. Good or bad, he was the best I ever saw adapting to different types of race cars. But his career ended a couple years ago. I hope he can get a good run or two this year, but he will be a big contributor to this sport as long as he is around

DW was and continues to be the most obnoxious and biggest whiner NASCAR has ever seen. Only ones even close to him are his brother Mikey, Matt Kenseth, and "daddy"s boy" Joey Logano.

I agree with you on his career ended a couple of years ago. He just hasn't been the same. Once you go through some bad wrecks it kind of slows you down and as you get older it slows you down even more.
