Dale Jr's own words, Gimmicks trying to trick up the race is going down the wrong path. The way to make racing exciting is to make the cars exciting. This was said referring to the all star race last night but if Nascar would listen it pertains to every race including the chase.

Another great black eye for NASCAR !! It was so sad that nobody had any idea what was going on. Not the fans, not the crews, not even the booth knew what they were seeing. It was total confusion! There was so many twists and turns that there could have been a Chinese fire drill going on and nobody would have known whether it was part of the format or not.Comment

That was in the Sprint showdown the All-Star race was all messed up the drivers, crews or ppl in the booth didn't know what was going on.Comment

Yeah like I said the race in the afternoon. believe me I watched in the Afternoon and I watch at Night. I could care less about the format or that no one could figure out what was going on. I was watching the race on the track. I guess I'm just not that interested in that kind of stuff like others. all I care about is the racing on the track any good. I don't care about this gimmick or that gimmick. If the racing is good that's all that matters to me and so far this year it's been better.Originally posted by drano View PostComment
