    A Breath Of Fresh Air

I have watched just enough NASCAR Cup racing this season to come to the conclusion that Jeff Gordon is very good with his analysis and is doing a great job in his post driving career endeavor in the TV booth.

He seems to show the same class, dignity and understanding of racing situations as he did as a championship level driver.

I was personally never a huge fan of Gordo but he's proved to be highly capable in the booth. He brings authenticity and credibility to the job and I hope he has a long and fruitful future in the booth.

I thought he did a outstanding job and I hope he continues next year and into the future. Good job Jeff.

Yesterday's race proves it because he was like it's not over even though it looked like it was once Hamlin got by smoke but, Jeff called it and smoke ended up winning.

Now dam it, remember what I told ya' about that eye roll $hit? They're gonna' stick like that and you'll no longer be able to see the TV screen. Since all indications are such that you get a man-love chubby every time you see pee wee jr. on TV you won't want to chance jeopardizing all that by continuously rolling your eyes. LOL!!

Now, go back and read the first sentence of the first post again and actually try really hard to comprehend what you're actually reading instead of what you want to believe. It should become abundantly clear, but with you there are probably no guarantee's.

Kid, did you really call me a liar like muddy said? LOL!!

Muddy ol' buddy, I find myself mildly flattered by your enigmatic infatuation with my TV viewing habits. Your strange and lurid infatuation with a pee wee herman look alike is another puzzling and inexplicable personal phenomenon, too. LOL!!

I've tried on numerous occasions to calmly and concisely clarify, to no avail, how we happen to find ourselves watching or listening to gimmickland racing. I'll give you one last hint, it has to do with dirt drivers we enjoy following competing in the gimmicked up races and how they are doing at that moment or how well they finished in a recent race. It has virtually nothing to do with any of the gimmicked up racing. Your hopes and dreams of us being some kind of closet gimmick fan are misplaced at best and plain stupid at worst! LOL!!

I'm pretty sure this won't be successful in satisfying your intense curiosity and your penchant for calling us a liar. But what more can a guy do?!

However, there is a certain degree of satisfaction in being called a liar by you muddy ol' buddy. Coming from the likes of you I tend to wear it as a badge of honor. LOL!!

Now if only Fox would replace DW and NBC would replace Kyle Petty it may be more enjoyable to listen to the broadcasts. Bring back guys like Eli Gold, Pat Patterson, Dr Jerry Punch, etc...

Never was a big fan of Eli Gold for one glaring reason. He came off as heavily favoring a certain driver over most everyone else. I realize there will be times when as an announcers those guys will establish some strong friendships and affiliations with a driver/drivers but as a paid announcer it is important that they not cross the line from announcer to cheerleader. It was obvious with Gold that he was a cheerleader.

Dr. Jerry Punch was very good, and although he was beholding and a close friend to at least one Cup driver he never seemed to allow that to taint his objectivity. It's really too bad that he's not doing Indy Car or NASCAR anymore.

As surprising as it sounds, I actually complemented his out standing work as Analyst at Fox. He gave tremendous insight. Best of anyone I can remember. His call of Denny isn't done on the last lap at Daytona when it looked like he was, and his call of it isn't over, he will be right there in turn 11 when Tony looked to be done, was a couple of his highlights.

Hyperbole! Hmmm! Have we learned a new word?!! LOL! You're at least attempting to expand your limited vocabulary even though the word is clearly not applicable in this instance.

Careful with those pee wee jr. chubbies!! Some of these gimmick races (if that's what you prefer to call them, most real race fans prefer calling them exhibitions) can last more than 4 hours!! LOL!!

I recall saying I don't pay any attention to gimmickcar, but at the same time saying that I DO pay attention to some of the great dirt open wheel drivers that have made the transition from real racing to the higher paying gimmickcar exhibitions. I'm at a loss as to how that makes me a liar and you happy to perceive that you were victorious in the strange game of "gotcha" you're so heavily involved in. Whether you think I'm a liar or whatever you think is somewhere around #1500 on my descending list of pertinence and importance.

I accurately predicted muddy boys' response in post #8, paragraph #3.

That said, me thinks you're fibbing by omission.

Do you keep those knee high's handy to prevent the skinning of your knees on the local sidewalks? LOL!!
