Jeff Gordon In The 88 Car

While on our way home from the Vogler Hall of Fame Classic in Brownsburg this morning our friend that drove, who is a relatively big NASCAR fan, had the NASCAR channel on his Sirius radio. At some point in their extended menial conversation the clowns that were hosting the program got around to jabbering about 4 time Cup Champion Jeff Gordon filling in for Earnhardt in the #88 car at IMS this weekend.

I related to everyone in the car at that point as to how cool it would be for ol' Gordo to win his 6th Brickyard 400 in a fill in role! I might have to check out the Cup race Sunday from time to time to see how Gordo is doing and to see just how slow the taxi cabs are compared to the Indy Cars.

I sure wish Rich Vogler had made it to Nascar ... I believe he would have been one of the best ...
