Yet they are staying on with Kyle Larson in a dying series. Whats up with that? All that they have won in INDY is something to be proud of. Does it have anything to do with the fact of Target being Targeted over the transgender issue with their restrooms ?

You and I know it does, but their liberal board wont ever admit it!Originally posted by Raceready View PostYet they are staying on with Kyle Larson in a dying series. Whats up with that? Every good sponsor has their heyday and then moves along, even STP came and went.
The reasons Target is staying with Larson may have a lot more to do with contractual obligations than preferring one sanction and type of racecar over another. I don't know that to be fact but the distinct possibility exists.
Don't feel bad for nasty Ganassi. I'll bet on him to land on his feet and not miss a beat!

OK, time to laugh at me some more. Sad to see Target leave Ganassi at Indy, they along with my company Ray O Vac were the high profile sponsor all the way back To Eddie Cheever in the early nineties. I represented both for entertainment purposes, but got to spend a lot of time with Guys from the Penske and Ganassi org. The day before the weekend festivities allowed for a lot of great conversation. Dan Sullivan and I really hit it off. He is a character. He talks more than I do, and that is quite a bit. Sat up one night till four in the morning talking to him and a couple of his team engineers. No drinking either. LOL
Kyle Larson is one guy who is going to have to replace the popularity of the sport after losing Gordon and Stewart.
