Default 4 Bar RR heavy setup help ?

I would like some opinions on running a 4 bar mod with more weight on RR than LR. My car is real loose off gas on entry. I have tried all different bar angles, springs, shocks, RR trail and RR lead combos, different brake adjustments, tire stagger, rear end alignment left to right, checked for binds over and over. It seems the best about 20 Lbs LR heavy. If I go higher than 30 Lbs Lr its really loose
but never good. I have never tried RR heavy I was looking for some suggestions of how much RR heavy to start at to try it. All the adjustments I have tried affected center and exit but never really cured the loose off gas on entry problem this car has had since new. Any suggestions or Ideas would be very helpful. We run UMP tire and J bar 5.5 inches of rake.
    Thanks

Can't suggest anything for rr heavy but what lf spring are you running and have you tried to increase rate?Another to check if you have a lr brake floater is have you tried to run it level at ride ht or downward on frame?

If you are on a typical 4 bar car, dropping the RRL bar on the frame will help. Also not sure if your on a pullbar but putting a 9010 will help tighten entry some, may limit forward drive though. Good luck.

Chevelle stub 650 LF 550 RF, RRL bar level, Pullbar with 90/10, no LR brake floater. Do you think RR brake floater uphill to frame may tighten entry off gas. Thanks for the help.

Thats odd, rr brake floater and no lr brake floater. Use to run a rr floater on 3 link and we ran it up hill, try it,might be what you need. What off set on rr, have you tried more rake in jbar? Where is it on pinion and is it a qc?

9 inch rear end, 4 inch RR wheel, j bar 1 hole below center of pinion, never tried more than 5.5 inch of j bar rake.
    Thanks

Having your fuel cell, battery and ballast up high just under the deck will tighten entry.

LR of car might be dropping too hard and causing the loose condition. Just something to think about.

How far back are you trailing the RR? you need to check and make sure its not WAY BACK....

I would hang some plumb bobs and get the long tape measure out and see what you got....front to motor plate, motor plate to rear end, motor plate to 4 bar mounts,... etc...

If your running a high compression left rear shock try something along the lines of a 5-2 or 5-3 instead of an 8-2 or say 9-1.

5.5" rake seems a little low... more rake should tighten it up, try going up a notch on the frame if you have the option
